Securing the appropriate permits and completing a local health department temporary food sale or distribution application are the responsibility of the vendor. The Virginia Department of Health requires that all food or drink vendors have a permit. No additional payment is required if you have already paid the fee, but proof of payment is required. If you have not already paid the fee, there will be a $20 payment due and good for the remainder of the year. In addition, the Hampton Health Department requires that all food or drink vendors complete its two-page temporary food sale or distribution application.
