Slice from "try-out" presentation from August, 2006 meetings.

In almost every case, vibrant and successful communities build upon inherited strengths.

Rarely do they depend on a single interest or point of view for their successes, but depend on different community interests coming together to find common ground.

Finding agreement, of course, can be difficult.

Different understandings and perspectives about how a community should grow and prosper can lead to serious discussions.  After all, we're not talking about a sketch done by someone from away. We're talking about our homes. Our businesses. Our lives. Our futures. Our Phoebus.

Along the way, some discussions will center on keeping things as they are, while others will focus on building on our rich history and embracing the future.

But no matter your view, if we are patient and respectful, we can and will find a common vision of what Phoebus can become.
