Talk to us.

On four occasions in April, five neighborhood groups in Phoebus sponsored town hall meetings to hear what you have to say.

The meetings were supported by Kiwanis by the Bay, the Phoebus Civic Association, the Phoebus Improvement League, the Phoebus Neighborhood Watch and the Phoebus Volunteer Fire Company.

We want to thank Jane H. Bryan Elementary School, Open Door Baptist Church, the Phoebus Volunteer Fire Company and St. Mary Star of the Sea School for providing us with places to hold these meetings. We are also grateful to the Phoebus High School MJROTC for their help in distributing doorhangers to businesses and homes in Phoebus

All told, more than 150 people participated in these face-to-face sessions.

In each case, no one who spoke was shy about his or her concerns, and we appreciate everyone's candor and interest in our community.

Out of the conversations we've had, it's obvious that follow-up meetings are in order.

Once meeting are scheduled, we will once again do our best to make sure you'll know about them.

If you were not able to attend a meeting, please click here to fill out an online survey, which will remain available for you to complete until April 30, 2010.

Finally, we invite you to email us at talk@phoebus.info if you have any additional comments or questions.

And thanks for your interest in Phoebus.
